How You Can Support NWAC Without Donating Dollars

When you work in animal rescue, every dollar counts. NWAC has three volunteers who primarily oversee the NWAC BottleDrop account by ordering the blue bags; distributing them; and picking up the cans, bottles, and other recyclables. We have regular supporters who contact us every month or so to get a bottle/can pick-up and more bags. We appreciate these supporters so much; they truly make a difference for NWAC.

Our goal is to make $150 a month through BottleDrop donations. We usually make it but sometimes just by the skin of our teeth. This month, our account sat at $16.30 for what felt like forever. We didn’t think we were going to make it. Then, out of the blue. someone in Wood Village took in eleven — yes, eleven! — blue bags credited to the NWAC account. Now our balance for March is $146.30. We are very hopeful that in the next week we can get a couple more bags in to make $150 and leave a little in the account to roll over to next month. We have no idea who you are but WOW — what an encouragement! Thank you!
